Nice, France is the place to come in the summer. Situated on the French Riveria and its Angles' Bay the climate is superb but it can be chilly in the winter. The French Riviera Airport (Nice Côte d'Azur) has over 6 million passengers annually, being topped only by Paris. I visited in March just after the Carnival of Nice, a major party event, while the city was cleaning up. One of the charms of Nice are its flowers. Shown here is a photolog of a walk about Nice including an early morning market. Nice lights up with the early morning sun and the Nikon 990 was able to capture some of the colors of the city.
